WOMEN'S WETSUITS NOW BACK IN STOCK! We have received suits from Blue Seventy and Orca. We expect more Helix TST and Synergie suits from B70 this week. Zipp Flashpoint 60's are also back in stock and selling fast. Welcome new staff and hours We would like to welcome a couple of new folks at the shop. We think you will like them as much as we do. Most folks in the road, mtb, and ‘cross crowd already know Russell Stevenson. He’s a stud, ‘nuff said, that is really knowledgeable and approachable. If you want to geek out with the technical he can do it and he has also given clinics to entry level folks for lots of different cycling disciplines. Russ is going to be heading up our new camps and clinics. We are just now getting what that means dialed down but send us an email if you are interested in learning more about it HERE. We have laid down a Mt. Rainier ride camp that will be staying at the Snorting Elk at Crystal Mtn. We are also taking early reservations for Tucson camps starting in the fall. Russ will also be doing some cyclocross camps and I can highly recommend that as serious fun. Ian Mullins also joins the staff and is a dirt head that we are going to make swim and run. He laughs when we say it is part of the job requirement to do triathlons – we’ll see. Ian is a personal trainer at Rain Fitness Club when he is not at the shop. Ian is pretty mellow so all of our type A triathletes need to be easy on him. The folks you know Just want to make sure that everyone knows the other folks on staff as we have one of the best crews around. I feel really confident that we can answer your questions no matter what day of the week that you come in. Tom Price is here and many people out there know Tom really well. He is one of the nicest guys in the industry that can explain anything to you without letting you know that he is one of the best bike mechanic-fitter-IronMan Canada Winner-UltraMan Canada Winners around. He offers coaching services to endurance athletes. Come by and say hi to one of our most respected triathlon gurus around. Lang Reynolds is a our serious contender. Lang races Category I road racing for the Hagens-Bermann team, locally and nationally. He is our PowerMeter knowledgebase as he races at an extremely high level without the numerous hours of some of his competitors because of his level of understanding of wattage training. Come by and ask your wattage questions and be careful because Lang has a degree in biology from Swathmore College and can talk the talk. Our part-time folks are really great as well and many of you know Tom Roseberry (or TR as we call him) from racing and a couple of you from aviation wing engineering. Super good guy, although he makes an argument for not raising your children on an island ;-) Tom Kelley is our event photographer and he may have some images of you so come by and see. His wife, Jessica (the one with long curly hair) is well known at races as she always wants to wave the flag by taking the shop’s big red tent. She trains quite a bit with the Jill Fry group on the Eastside. Check the JFT site HERE. These guys are great and are very friendly group. Jessica Cutler is our legal advisor as she is a law student at Seattle U. Many of you see her at races with the “full sleeves” (tattoos up the arm). Jess is our resident vegan so come in and talk to her for some nutritional advice if that is your cup of tea. She builds the wheels she rides on so if you need some rim help come let the girl school ya’. We also have Cutler's sister, Lucy in the shop helping with the wetsuits and women's clothing. I hope you guys all enjoy the people in the shop for the different things they bring to the store as I do. We try our best to give your our sincere answer to your questions, problems, threats and bribes. We appreciate your business.
