Lisa  Walker
Triathlete & Coach
In 2006 Lisa was aiming to qualify for Ironman Hawaii. She was able to do so by winning her age group at Ironman Coeur d’Alene. With some tune ups, know to others as major races like Seafair Triathlon, Lake Stevens Olympic and Black Hills Triathlon, Lisa was ready for the World Championships in Hawaii in November. Two flat tires in the first 20 miles took her out of podium contention but she was able pull off a 13th place in her age group (45-49) and qualify for the Boston Marathon during the run. Don't slow down if Lisa is in your race as you might get run down! Lisa is a USAT All American for 2006 and is looking forward to some really fast bike splits with her new 2007 Litespeed Saber! That should correct those bike flats ;-)
Joanna  Pomykala
Triathlete
Highlights from Joanna's 2005 season included top-5 age group finishes at the New Balance Half Iron and the Federal Escape Triathlon, and qualifying for Boston at the Seattle Marathon in November. Having focused on Olympic and 1/2 IM distances in the past, Joanna will tackle her first Ironman at Coeur d'Alene in 2006.
Congratulations to Joanna for her 3rd Place Overall at the Napa Valley 1/2 Ironman.
Tracy  Orcutt
Triathlete
Tracy's reluctantly accepting the fact that she is now in the Masters category. How did that happen? She had a decent season in 2006, when she was still young: 3rd at Best of the U.S. Championships, 2nd at Pacific Crest, 3rd at Seafair, 1st at Tri WIthout Borders, 1st at Escape from Federal Way, and 1st in Black Diamond Half. She was USAT all-American 2003, 2004 and 2006, with a ranking of 3rd in her age group in 2006. Assuming she can stay injury-free, she will compete at USAT Age Group Nationals at Hagg Lake, Seafair, and hopefully Best of the U.S. again.
Simone  Van Rheenen
Triathlete
Simone came into multisport through the age group ranks and prides herself on being able to juggle her sport ambitions with a busy professional career. Simone has been competing in triathlons for 5 years with several top 10 sprint and olympic finishes and has completed 6 Ironmans including the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. 2006 was Simone’s Team Triumph debut and proved to be a stellar year bringing her several AG and Top 5 wins in Ultra Distance running events and 2 successful Ironman finishes and setting a “new best” time of 10:49 at Ironman Canada. In 2007 Simone will be competing in several local sprint races and Ironman Canada.
Jessica  Hayden-Spear
Triathlete
Jessi has only been racing for a couple years but knew from the first time she raced that triathlon was going to be a hard habit to break. 2007 was a great year, with several age-group wins and top 5 finishes, including an age-group win at SeaFair, 4th overall at Cascade’s Edge sprint, and a qualification for 2008 USAT Age Group Nats. She looks forward to having another great season in 2008, when she will be taking a crack at long-course with the Wildflower half, IM Canada, and the Soma half.
